Gastrochilus calceolaris

Gastrochilus calceolaris is a medium-sized epiphytic subshrub native from Nepal to Hainan and west Malesia. It grows in evergreen lowland forests or primary montane forests at 200 to 2300 metres in wet tropical conditions, preferring cold temperatures and partial sun. The species produces fragrant blooms in spring, fall and winter.
