Gastrochilus distichus

Gastrochilus distichus is a small epiphytic subshrub from the western central Himalaya to China west Yunnan and north Indo-China. It grows in shade on moss covered trees in dense rain forests at elevations of 1520 to 2700 metres in a subtropical climate with cool temperatures and partial shade. Blooming occurs in spring.
