Guarechea orchids

Guarechea is an artificial hybrid genus. Its registered hybrids combine Prosthechea and Guarianthe. Species of Prosthechea occur from Mexico to Central America, north-west Venezuela to Ecuador and Guyana, south Florida, the Caribbean and south-east Mexico to Guatemala. They are pseudobulbous epiphytes in wet tropical climate. Species of Guarianthe occur from south Mexico to Central America, Mexico to Central America and Mexico in Chiapas to Honduras. They are pseudobulbous epiphytes in wet tropical climate.
