Guarianthe orchids

Guarianthe species are pseudobulbous epiphytes and pseudobulbous lithophytes from wet tropical climates. They occur from south Mexico to Central America, Mexico to Central America, Mexico Chiapas to Honduras and south-east Mexico to Central America.

Fifteen species and two hybrids are catalogued. Example species are Guarianthe aurantiaca, Guarianthe bowringiana, Guarianthe skinneri and Guarianthe laelioides.
