About Mormodia
Mormodia is an artificial hybrid genus whose registered hybrids combine Mormodes and Clowesia. Species of Mormodes are pseudobulbous epiphytes from Mexico in Oaxaca Chiapas and Veracruz to Honduras and north Brazil in wet tropical climate. Species of Clowesia are pseudobulbous epiphytes from west and south Mexico including Michoacan to north Nicaragua in seasonally dry tropical climate.
