Panisea orchids

Panisea orchids grow terrestrially or lithophytically and prefer cool temperatures. They are miniature or small plants occurring at elevations of 1100 to 2150 metres. Bloom seasons are mainly spring, winter and summer. These orchids are terrestrial and lithophytic with cool temperature preference and small size in that elevation range during those seasons.

Four species are catalogued for the genus. The species share the terrestrial or lithophytic habit, cool temperature preference, miniature or small size, elevation from 1100 to 2150 metres and bloom seasons in spring, winter and summer.
