Podochilus orchids

Podochilus plants are miniature epiphytes with a typical growth habit that is epiphytic. The species come from regions including Peninsula Thailand to west Malesia as well as Nepal to Indo-China. They are found in subtropical and wet tropical climates. The elevation range for the species is 390 to 390 metres. These orchids have a typical temperature preference for hot conditions and their main bloom seasons are in spring.

Three species are catalogued. Podochilus cultratus is the example species.
