Propetalum orchids

Propetalum is an artificial hybrid genus whose registered hybrids combine Zygopetalum and Promenaea. Zygopetalum species are pseudobulbous epiphytes from north Peru to Brazil, east and south Brazil to north-east Argentina, south-east and south Brazil in wet tropical climate. Promenaea species are pseudobulbous epiphytes from east and south Brazil in wet tropical climate.

Ten hybrids are catalogued. The example registered hybrids are Propetalum MATHINA, Propetalum Kiwi Leopard and Propetalum La Jolla Delight.
