Rhyncatlaelia orchids

Rhyncatlaelia is an artificial hybrid genus whose registered hybrids combine Rhyncholaeliocattleya, Laelia, Laeliocattleya and Cattleya. Laelia species occur from Mexico to Honduras and from Mexico to Central America. They are pseudobulbous epiphytes found in Mexico in a seasonally dry tropical climate.

Rhyncatlaelia Ivan Tacuri and Rhyncatlaelia Tomebamba are example registered hybrids. Nine hybrids are catalogued.
