Rhynchonopsis orchids

Rhynchonopsis is an artificial hybrid genus whose registered hybrids combine Rhynchostylis and Phalaenopsis. Rhynchostylis species are epiphytic subshrubs from Hainan to Malesia, Indo-China and China to Tropical Asia in wet tropical climate. Phalaenopsis species are epiphytes from the Philippines, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, north-west Sumatera and Borneo in wet tropical climate.

Eleven hybrids are catalogued. Examples include Rhynchonopsis Dragon Charmy Orchid, Rhynchonopsis Dragon Charmy - Spike Forming, Rhynchonopsis Dragon Charmy ‘Jairak’ XL and Rhynchonopsis Taiwan Glamor.
