Sobralia candida

Sobralia candida, known as the white sobralia, is a large terrestrial orchid. It occurs from Costa Rica to south Venezuela and Bolivia in dense wet montane forests and open dry forests at elevations of 700 to 1800 metres. This species grows in a wet tropical climate with hot temperatures and partial shade, flowering in winter, spring, summer and fall.
