Stenoglottis orchids

Stenoglottis plants are tuberous geophytes or lithophytes. They occur in subtropical climates from south Mozambique to KwaZulu-Natal and from south and south-east Cape Prov. to south KwaZulu-Natal. They have a cool temperature preference and flower mainly in fall.

Three species and one hybrid are catalogued. Stenoglottis longifolia is an example species.
