Sudamerlycaste orchids

Sudamerlycaste species grow as terrestrials or lithophytes. They occur at elevations from 650 to 3000 metres. Temperature preferences are cold to cool. Plant sizes range from large to small. Most species are fragrant. Bloom seasons are spring, winter and fall.
