Systeloglossum orchids

Systeloglossum species are small pseudobulbous epiphytes. Their typical growth habit is epiphytic in wet tropical climates. The species are recorded from Colombia in Risaralda and Ecuador. They grow at elevations from 1000 to 1500 metres. The typical temperature preference is intermediate. The main bloom seasons are winter and late winter.
