About Trichoglottis
Trichoglottis species are epiphytic subshrubs from wet tropical climates. They originate chiefly in the Philippines, with further records from Indo-China to Peninsula Malaysia, Jawa, Borneo to the Philippines, Sumatera to Jawa, south Taiwan to the Philippines and north-east Borneo. Elevations range from 50 to 2000 metres. Typical temperatures are hot to intermediate. Plant sizes vary from miniature to large. Most species are fragrant and flower mainly in summer, spring and winter.
