Tuberolabium orchids

Tuberolabium species are epiphytic subshrubs that occur in wet tropical climates. They are recorded from south Taiwan including Lan Yü and from the Philippines including Luzon. The elevation range of the species is 1000 to 1000 metres. These plants are miniature in size and have an intermediate temperature preference. Most species are recorded as fragrant. The main bloom seasons are spring, winter and summer.

Five species and one hybrid are catalogued. Example species are Tuberolabium kotoense and Tuberolabium quisumbingii.
