Vandoglossum orchids

Vandoglossum is an artificial hybrid genus whose registered hybrids combine Vanda and Holcoglossum. Vanda species come from China to Temperate east Asia and Indo-China as well as Arunachal Pradesh to south Yunnan and Indo-China. They are epiphytic subshrubs in wet tropical climates. Holcoglossum species occur from south-east Yunnan and south-west Guangxi to north Vietnam and from south Yunnan to Indo-China as well as south-west Sichuan and north-west Yunnan. They are epiphytic subshrubs in wet tropical climates.

Eleven hybrids are catalogued. Vandoglossum Asuka is one example.
