Wilhelmara orchids

Wilhelmara is an artificial hybrid genus whose registered hybrids combine Bratonia, Rhynchostele, Rhynchonia and Brassostele. Rhynchostele species occur from Mexico to Central America, south-east Mexico to Guatemala and Mexico (Chiapas) to north-west Venezuela. They are pseudobulbous epiphytes that grow in a seasonally dry tropical climate.

Seven hybrids are catalogued. Wilhelmara Pinot Princess is an example registered hybrid.
