Zygodisanthus orchids

Zygodisanthus is an artificial hybrid genus. Its registered hybrids combine Paradisanthus with Zygopetalum. The genus Zygopetalum has species from north Peru to Brazil. It has species from east and south Brazil to north-east Argentina. It has species from south-east and south Brazil. These are pseudobulbous epiphytes from wet tropical climate.

Four hybrids are catalogued. One example is Zygodisanthus DIMITRI KONTOS.
