Bletia orchids

Bletia species are large terrestrial tuberous geophytes. Their origin is wet tropical south Tropical America. The elevation range of the species is 200 to 2500 metres. Typical temperature preference is cool. Main bloom seasons are spring and summer. The typical climate is wet tropical and the growth habit is terrestrial.
