Gastrochilus acutifolius

Gastrochilus acutifolius is a medium-sized epiphytic orchid known as the pointed-leaf gastrochilus. It occurs in open primary, mossy, semi-deciduous, broad-leafed, mixed and coniferous forests in Assam India, the eastern Himalayas, Nepal, Myanmar and Vietnam at 700 to 900 metres. The intermediate species prefers partial sun and produces fragrant blooms in fall and year-round.
